Internal Audit Professional

About the role

The Internal Audit Professional will provide expert advice and independent assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes across Saudi Telecom Company. This role focuses on minimizing operational, financial and business risks within the telecom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Document and develop STC’s governance and regulatory framework in line with applicable laws and professional ethics.
• Define audit approaches for work units to identify non‑compliance and irregularities.
• Ensure audit‑related policies, procedures and compliance guidelines are followed.
• Provide independent opinions on information systems, network, finance, investments and new business effectiveness.
• Promote high standards of control and risk management across focus areas.
• Follow‑up on investigation results, implement preventive and detective controls, and recommend remedial actions.
• Communicate audit findings and updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive audit reports.
• Adopt world‑class internal audit practices and ensure their compliance.
• Monitor technology developments to identify audit opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, CIA, or Risk Management are preferred.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, compliance or risk management, preferably within the technology or telecommunications sector.
