Internal Audit Specialist (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to join our Riyadh office and support Al‑Ruwais Contracting Company’s high‑security infrastructure projects. The role involves conducting audits, evaluating controls, and driving continuous improvement across financial and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal audit activities in line with the approved audit plan.
• Review financial transactions, records and operational processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Prepare audit reports, document findings and follow up on recommendations.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and support risk‑mitigation initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of internal audit experience.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards.
• Solid understanding of Accounting Principles.
