Internal Auditor – IT

About the role

We are looking for an IT Internal Auditor to join a growing team. The role is suited for professionals passionate about technology, risk management and strengthening IT controls across the organization. You will conduct IT audits, perform risk assessments, review cybersecurity measures and evaluate governance and compliance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audit engagements covering systems, processes and controls.
• Perform risk assessments and identify control gaps.
• Conduct cybersecurity reviews and assess cloud security posture.
• Evaluate governance, compliance and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk, cybersecurity or related areas.
• Valid CISA and CISM certifications.
• Experience with IT General Controls (ITGC), SOC 1, SOC 2, ERP controls and ISO 27001.
• Additional certifications such as COBIT 5, ISO 42001 or ISO 22301 are a plus.
