Internal Auditor Supervisor

About the role

The Internal Auditor Supervisor leads the internal audit function for Ports and Branches, ensuring compliance with quality assurance guidelines and international standards. Working autonomously with minor direction, the role focuses on developing audit methodologies, planning annual audit cycles, and supervising audit execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop internal audit guidelines, methodologies, and annual audit plans aligned with QA and international standards.
• Assess audit resource needs, coordinate with external auditors when required, and allocate internal resources effectively.
• Design audit programs, including scope, key assessment areas, schedules, and focal points.
• Collect documentation, create and update audit checklists and forms, and communicate audit plans to relevant functions.
• Oversee the execution of audits, ensuring findings are documented and recommendations are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant internal audit experience.
• Strong competencies in collaboration, data gathering, internal audit techniques, and policy enforcement.
