International Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing international logistics activities to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and compliant movement of materials, equipment and products. This role works closely with supply‑chain, procurement, manufacturing, customs brokers and third‑party logistics providers to maintain inventory accuracy and support operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound international shipments, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Prepare, review and maintain shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin and customs paperwork.
• Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers and carriers to facilitate smooth execution of imports and exports.
• Track shipments, monitor delivery status and resolve transportation delays or issues.
• Manage inventory transfers between warehouses, manufacturing sites and customer locations.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and transportation documentation within ERP systems.
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, customs regulations and international shipping standards.
• Prepare logistics reports, shipment metrics and KPI dashboards for management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, warehousing and supply‑chain operations.
• Understanding of import/export regulations, customs clearance and international shipping requirements.
• Proven experience coordinating international freight movements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JDE.
• Excellent planning, organizational and time‑management abilities.
