International Procurement Engineer

About the role

Zhongtian Marine Cable is hiring an International Procurement Engineer in Jeddah. The role manages the company's imported category business, covering the full international procurement process, and also supports local procurement and supplier development for the Saudi factory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the imported category business, overseeing sourcing, price comparison, negotiation, contracting, order follow-up, inspection, logistics and payment.
• Draft and review international procurement contracts and understand basic legal clauses.
• Handle customs affairs, applying Incoterms 2020 and international transport, insurance and customs clearance procedures; freight forwarding and customs declaration experience preferred.
• Carry out local procurement and supplier development for the Saudi factory, evaluating and selecting suppliers.
• Research the global supply chain market to track raw material price movements and industry capacity trends.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, finance, logistics and other departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• CET-6 or equivalent; fluent spoken English and proficient business English writing; Arabic is a plus.
• Clear logic, good communication and expression, with organizational, planning and coordination skills.
