International Tax Director

About the role

The International Tax Director will shape and execute the group’s tax strategy, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations and aligning tax planning with overall business objectives. This senior position partners with business units, corporate functions and subsidiaries to provide expert guidance on transfer pricing, double tax treaties and cross‑border tax issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, model and implement the group’s international tax strategy.
• Support business units, corporate functions and subsidiaries on international tax, transfer pricing and double tax treaty matters.
• Maintain and update transfer pricing policies and documentation.
• Prepare responses for tax audits and analyse international tax and transfer pricing assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on international tax and transfer pricing projects.
• Identify and mitigate global permanent establishment risks.
• Oversee international tax compliance for all group companies.
• Monitor legislative changes, assess their impact and devise strategies to leverage new tax rules.
• Lead international tax planning initiatives, including M&A transactions.
• Maximise benefits from double tax treaties and pursue potential tax refunds for the group.
• Support risk management and implement controls for international tax and transfer pricing.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in international tax, transfer pricing or related disciplines.
• Prior managerial experience in Tax & VAT control within a large‑scale, service‑oriented organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
