Inventory Accountant

About the role

The Inventory Accountant will be responsible for monitoring and recording all inventory transactions for Anoosh, a leading Saudi luxury chocolate and baked‑goods brand. The role ensures accurate inventory numbers, conducts audits, and prepares detailed reports for management.

Key responsibilities

• Record all inventory transactions in the accounting system and maintain up‑to‑date inventory levels.
• Conduct regular audits, reconciliations and correct any discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare inventory valuation, variance analysis and cost‑of‑goods‑sold reports for management.
• Analyze inventory trends, identify improvement opportunities and support forecasting with purchasing, manufacturing and sales teams.
• Manage and report inventory‑related expenses such as freight and storage costs.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies for inventory accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in inventory accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting software and inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to ethical accounting practices.
