Inventory Analyst

About the role

The Inventory Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing warehouse space and material flow for our operations in Makkah. You will work closely with warehouse teams to develop tools, procedures, and schedules that improve inventory placement and replenishment efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain slotting and replenishment tools, including an item profiling scheme.
• Create and execute a reslotting schedule for targeted item groups or the entire warehouse.
• Analyze order patterns to group items with similar turnover rates and assign optimal slots.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for inventory handling.
• Approve the DMF and keep the goods inventory records up to date.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations to streamline material flows and picking paths.
• Monitor warehouse layout to enhance distribution efficiency and support effective space utilization.
• Provide regular updates to managers and operations teams on storage and handling issues, proposing improvement solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
