IT Engineer – Systems & Network

About the role

OVEEQ Technologies is looking for an experienced IT Engineer / Systems & Network Engineer to design, implement, configure and support IT infrastructure solutions for its customers in Riyadh. The role involves end‑to‑end project ownership, from site surveys and solution design through to implementation, testing and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct customer site surveys and technical assessments.
• Design IT infrastructure solutions and prepare Bills of Materials.
• Provide technical and pre‑sales support for RFQs and customer requirements.
• Install and configure servers, storage, switches, firewalls and wireless networks.
• Configure VLANs, routing, VPNs, DHCP, DNS and related network services.
• Deploy and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Implement virtualization, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex network, server, security and infrastructure issues.
• Perform migrations, upgrades and new infrastructure deployments.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support and supervise technicians during installations.
• Test, document and hand over completed projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and distributors for technical requirements and support.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on systems or networking experience.
• Previous experience with system integrators or IT solution providers preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong networking, systems‑administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to independently conduct site surveys and implementations.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet, Microsoft or Aruba are advantageous.
• Good English communication; Arabic highly preferred.
• Saudi driving licence and transferable Iqama preferred.
• Flexibility for occasional after‑hours project or support work.
