IT Governance Lead Expert

About the role

The Information Technology Governance Lead Expert will shape and maintain the Authority’s IT governance framework, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and international best practices. This senior position works with minimal supervision to drive policy development, risk management, and service quality across all IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve an IT governance framework, including policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Review and update regulatory and operational policies to reflect evolving technical and business needs.
• Participate in the creation of standards and procedures for IT governance and digital transformation.
• Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and assess actual performance against targets.
• Analyze IT operation results (change, problem, incident management) for compliance with governance and quality requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to technology systems, digitisation, and data collection.
• Support internal audits and ensure readiness of documentation evidencing governance adherence.
• Track governance compliance and service quality through KPIs, analytical reporting, and improvement recommendations.
• Advise senior management on enhancements to policies, frameworks, tools, and techniques.
• Provide support for external regulator requirements and conduct benchmark research for IT and digitisation services.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead business activities and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk, compliance, and performance measurement.
• Experience aligning IT strategies with institutional objectives and international standards.
• Excellent analytical and advisory skills for technical and regulatory matters.
