IT Governance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Governance Specialist to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our IT strategy and governance framework. The role acts as a bridge between business operations and IT, ensuring data requirements are clearly defined, prioritized and that compliance is maintained across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing and updating the overall IT strategy.
• Support the creation and maintenance of the IT governance model, policies and procedures, and monitor compliance.
• Serve as liaison between business units and IT to clarify data‑related requirements.
• Participate in risk and audit assessments, helping to identify and mitigate IT‑related risks.
• Prepare and present IT governance metrics and compliance reports to management and stakeholders.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhancing governance practices.
• Ensure alignment with frameworks such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, COBIT and ITIL.
• Oversee ITSM governance, ensuring maturity and compliance of CMDB, service catalog, incident, problem, change and asset management processes.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in IT administration, governance, compliance or risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, COBIT).

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks: COBIT, ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27001.
• Experience with risk assessment and management.
• IT planning, compliance and change management expertise.
• Vendor management and reporting capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with CMDB, service catalog, incident, problem, change and asset management processes.
