IT Infrastructure and Systems Design Expert

About the role

The IT Infrastructure and Systems Design Expert will lead the development and optimisation of ZATCA's IT infrastructure and systems. Working with minimal supervision, the role involves translating business needs into technical solutions and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current IT infrastructure, identify gaps, and design detailed solutions that meet business requirements.
• Lead the creation of RFPs for infrastructure and systems projects and support vendor evaluation and selection.
• Assess and prioritise change requests, develop implementation schedules, and coordinate with relevant functions.
• Conduct IT risk assessments for new technologies and collaborate on mitigation plans.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, analyse reports, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide escalation support for complex issues and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure design, RFP development, and vendor management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and performance metrics.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
