IT Internal Audit Lead

About the role

The IT & Cyber Internal Audit Lead is responsible for leading and executing risk‑based audits that cover Information Technology, cybersecurity, IT platforms, business continuity, disaster recovery and technology governance. The role ensures technology risks are identified, assessed and mitigated in line with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on comprehensive IT and cyber audit engagements.
• Assess controls across IT platforms, business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and audit committees.
• Maintain continuous monitoring of technology risk exposure.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure audit findings are addressed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 3–8 years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity audit, technology risk or internal audit.
• Proven ability to lead audit engagements and interact with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT audit methodologies and regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of cybersecurity controls and standards.
• Familiarity with business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
