IT Operations & Automation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive IT Operations & Automation Specialist to oversee our core technology ecosystem and create automation workflows that boost efficiency across the organization. This fully remote, full‑time position works directly with the CEO and department heads to streamline processes, enhance system reliability, and implement scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor SaaS platforms, CRM, ERP, cloud services, user accounts, permissions, and system integrations.
• Maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Design, build, test, and maintain automation workflows using Make, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, APIs, and scripting.
• Identify repetitive processes and convert them into reliable automated solutions.
• Manage access controls, cybersecurity practices, data backups, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools based on cost, security, and operational impact.
• Document configurations, integrations, automation logic, technical procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide regular progress and performance reports to the CEO.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in IT operations, system administration, or workflow automation.
• Proven ability to design and deploy automation workflows.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, and SaaS platform administration or integration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and collaborate with executive leadership.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
