IT Specialist – Hotel Technology Support

About the role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an IT Specialist to join the Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard team. You will be responsible for keeping the hotel’s technology infrastructure running smoothly, ensuring reliable support for all departments and maintaining compliance with IHG IT standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software, network and system issues across the hotel.
• Maintain and monitor core hotel systems such as PMS, POS, email, internet, telephony and other business applications.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot computers, printers, network devices and other IT equipment.
• Monitor network performance, Wi‑Fi connectivity and system availability to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance, software updates, backups and antivirus management.
• Create and manage user accounts, passwords and system access in line with security policies.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licences and support requests.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs and system maintenance.
• Support IT projects, system upgrades and technology implementations.
• Ensure compliance with IHG cybersecurity standards and data protection requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
