IT Technician – First-Level Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated IT Technician to join the IT Service Delivery Division of Tuwaiq Casting & Forging. Reporting to the IT Engineer or IT Manager, you will provide first-level technical support to ensure smooth and uninterrupted IT services for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to employees and end-users across the organisation.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers and other IT equipment.
• Assist with network connectivity issues, including internet and Wi‑Fi.
• Support software installation, updates and antivirus management.
• Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
• Monitor and respond to service-desk tickets promptly.
• Perform routine system and data backup checks.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
