IT Technician

About the role

ABIS is looking for a skilled IT Technician to provide technical support and keep its IT systems running smoothly. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network systems and helping users with technical problems. It suits a proactive person who can solve problems well and work both independently and in a team.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and networks
• Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software and network issues
• Carry out routine maintenance and updates on IT systems
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems quickly
• Keep accurate records of IT assets, inventory and support activities
• Help set up and support new equipment and IT infrastructure projects
• Work with colleagues to improve IT systems and processes

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred
• Proven experience or knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS and Linux
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
