IT/DT Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Air Products is seeking an IT/DT Cybersecurity Engineer to support the implementation, validation, and documentation of cybersecurity controls across GHE site systems, OT/ICS environments, and digital transformation (DT) infrastructure. The role involves close collaboration with site teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure secure commissioning and hand‑over of industrial assets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, validate, and document cybersecurity controls for OT/ICS and industrial networks.
• Support cyber site acceptance testing, evidence capture, defect logging, and issue tracking.
• Collect and review compliance evidence such as network diagrams, firewall rules, hardening standards, and SIEM configurations.
• Assist in tracking remediation of cybersecurity gaps, risk assessment findings, and vendor documentation deficiencies.
• Provide technical support for system hardening, firewall configuration, password management, secure remote access, endpoint security tooling, DMZ implementation, and network segmentation verification.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor deliverables against project cybersecurity requirements and Air Products standards.
• Maintain and organize technical cybersecurity evidence for regulatory readiness and proof‑of‑compliance packages.

Required profile

• Experience working in OT/ICS cybersecurity environments within industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Ability to conduct technical reviews, field verification, and walkthroughs of cybersecurity controls.
• Strong documentation skills to capture technical decisions, deviations, risk acceptances, and open action items.
