Jr./Mid Machine Learning Engineer – Time-Series & Inertial AI

About the role

Join Siware Systems' new Systems-Level Integration team in Riyadh and lead the development of AI‑driven solutions for high‑performance inertial sensors. You will apply deep‑learning techniques to raw MEMS IMU data, improving accuracy and robustness of the hardware. The role starts with a strong focus on software, simulation, and data‑driven modeling.

Key responsibilities

• Design, train, and validate neural networks (CNNs, LSTMs, TCNs, Transformers) for denoising and fusing inertial sensor data.
• Develop virtual‑sensing models that enhance MEMS IMU outputs using supervised or self‑supervised learning.
• Build scalable data pipelines to process high‑frequency, large‑volume sensor datasets.
• Collaborate with Egypt‑based systems and firmware teams to ensure models fit edge microcontroller constraints (TinyML).
• Implement rapid prototypes based on recent academic research and continuously survey state‑of‑the‑art papers.
• Quantize and prune PyTorch/TensorFlow models for deployment on resource‑constrained targets such as ARM Cortex‑M.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
• Active Engineer membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (Engineer Grade).
• Strong hands‑on experience with deep‑learning frameworks, especially PyTorch.
• Proficient Python developer with solid software‑engineering practices (unit testing, modular design).
• Experience with version control (Git) and data‑pipeline construction.
