Junior Accountant

About the role

Day & Night Company, a provider of rental power solutions across Saudi Arabia, is looking for a full‑time Junior Accountant to maintain clean books using Odoo and Excel. The role supports day‑to‑day financial operations and contributes to smart decision‑making as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Record and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and keep proper documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and account statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Assist with VAT calculations, filing preparation, and ensure compliance with Saudi VAT regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments on accounting‑related matters.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and supporting records.
• Perform other accounting tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Basic knowledge of financial statements and reporting.
• Experience with Saudi VAT procedures and compliance.
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software preferred.
