Junior Accountant

About the role

Bunge is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh. The role supports the financial health of the business by ensuring accurate recording of transactions and compliance with Saudi accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer and vendor invoices (accounts payable and receivable).
• Support bank reconciliations and cash transaction posting.
• Assist with inventory accounting, prepaid expenses, and amortization schedules.
• Handle intercompany transactions and related reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records and support depreciation calculations.
• Post general‑ledger entries, including SG&A expenses.
• Prepare VAT and WHT reports in line with Saudi regulations.
• Contribute to month‑end closing activities and balance‑sheet reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience or a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and spoken English; conversational Arabic for stakeholder interaction.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
