Key Account Manager – EXA Ceramics

About the role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing EXA Ceramics' most important customers, ensuring their needs are met on time and to quality standards. The role focuses on building strong relationships, driving sales growth, and supporting the Project Sales Department.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with key customers, answer queries, and provide product recommendations.
• Identify and approach potential clients to promote new products.
• Maintain accurate data in the C4C CRM system and submit samples and documentation for client approval.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, monitor collections, and coordinate bank postings.
• Provide weekly and monthly progress reports and suggest sales‑boosting ideas.
• Monitor competitor activity and inform the sales team of market changes.
• Support HR functions such as recruiting, performance assessment, and delegation of authority.
• Develop and execute business plans, track budget performance, and take corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Proactive problem‑solver with the ability to make timely decisions.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
• Ability to lead, coach, and evaluate team members fairly.
• Experience in translating corporate goals into actionable sales plans.
• Good understanding of budget control and cost efficiency.
