Key Account Manager

About the role

JD.com is looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to shape and execute strategic sales plans, strengthen key customer relationships, and collaborate across functions to expand market reach. The role combines analytical market insight with hands‑on leadership of a sales team to drive growth for the company’s global business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop annual sales plans and phased strategies that align with corporate objectives.
• Build, train, and manage a high‑performing sales team, overseeing performance management and resource coordination.
• Lead development of key accounts, negotiate long‑term partnerships, resolve critical client issues, and increase repurchase rates and brand loyalty.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and cross‑functional teams to design promotional campaigns, expand channel strategies, and optimise sales processes and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales strategy formulation and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales teams.
• Strong track record in managing key accounts and negotiating long‑term partnerships.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated market initiatives.
