Key Accounts Manager

About the role

Soum, a fast‑growing B2C marketplace in Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Key Accounts Manager to own and expand relationships with bulk‑buying customers. You will be the primary point of contact for these buyer accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, retention, and growth while working closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless purchasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of buyer/client accounts, acting as the main liaison for bulk purchasers.
• Build long‑term relationships, understand purchasing patterns, and identify upsell or expansion opportunities.
• Own retention and customer satisfaction metrics, proactively addressing issues before they arise.
• Coordinate with operations, logistics, finance, and product teams to ensure smooth order‑to‑delivery processes.
• Track account performance, reporting on growth, retention, and satisfaction.
• Identify and onboard new large‑scale buyers to grow Soum’s commercial buyer base.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Account Management, or Customer Success in a buyer‑facing commercial role.
• Proven track record of developing and managing buyer relationships (not vendor or procurement).
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.
• Ability to drive account growth, retention, and satisfaction against clear targets.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM to manage pipeline, account health, and reporting.
