Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our restaurant team in Saudi Arabia. You will work side‑by‑side with chefs, helping to prepare high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen area.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
• Store food items correctly and apply FIFO (First‑In‑First‑Out) inventory principles.
• Receive and stock deliveries, checking quantities and conditions.
• Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors accurately.
• Dispose of waste according to established procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
