Lead Business Development Analyst

About the role

The Lead Business Development Analyst will support the expansion of relationships with prospective and existing clients, drive short‑term plans to engage new industries, and identify both short‑ and long‑term business opportunities within the ICT and smart‑city sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Document and initiate business relationships with public and private sector experts across the Kingdom.
• Identify, analyse, and report on mega‑prospect projects, focusing on smart‑city and ICT/digitisation opportunities.
• Lead consultative sales activities for medium‑to‑low return clients within a defined domain.
• Gather resources to support sales bids aligned with client expectations.
• Prepare initial market studies and lead generation reports, especially for smart‑city initiatives.
• Assist other departments in business‑case development and facilitate deal closures.
• Conduct market research, deliver insights on emerging trends, and help develop new ICT/digitisation concepts and value propositions.
• Provide due‑diligence support for business‑development and innovation projects.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer‑service roles within the technology/telecommunication industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; a Master’s in Business Administration is a plus.
• Proven ability to analyse large‑scale projects and present findings to senior management.
