Lead Experience Designer

About the role

Thoughtworks is expanding its presence in the Middle East and is looking for a Lead Experience Designer to join the Riyadh team. You will be the creative engine behind AI‑powered products, working in fast‑paced, multidisciplinary pods alongside product managers, data/AI specialists, and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end experience design, from discovery workshops to high‑fidelity prototypes and shipped products.
• Design AI‑native, agentic user flows that prioritize trust, transparency, and user control.
• Leverage AI‑enhanced design tools (Figma, UX Pilot, Bolt, Murai, Maze, LLM research tools) to accelerate ideation and research.
• Conduct lean user research and testing aligned with rapid sprint cycles, championing accessibility and inclusive design.
• Build and govern design systems and component libraries in partnership with engineering.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client executives, shaping proposals and pre‑sales engagements.
• Help establish and grow the local Experience Design practice and culture.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product design experience with a strong visual portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead design efforts in multidisciplinary, agile environments.
• Experience shaping AI‑driven experiences and communicating complex concepts to stakeholders.
