Leather Goods Repair Technician - Tumi

About the role

Tumi, part of Chalhoub Group, is hiring a technician in Riyadh to inspect, repair and restore handbags and leather goods. The job holder must deliver high-quality workmanship in line with company standards, keeping the original quality and appearance of products while completing repairs within the required timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect handbags and leather products to identify damage and repair needs, then stitch, replace zippers, handles, straps and other components, and restore damaged leather surfaces.
• Repair and replace damaged hardware and accessories, and perform hand and machine stitching.
• Ensure all repairs meet quality standards, check work before and after completion, handle luxury items carefully, and report any additional damage or repair challenges.
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials, keep the workspace clean and safe, and complete repairs on time.
• Clean, polish, condition and colour-restore leather as needed, and choose the right method for each material.
• Record repair activities, spare parts used and completed repairs in the Focus system.

Required profile

• High school degree.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
