Linen Room Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Linen Room Supervisor to lead our Linen Room Attendants in delivering high‑quality linen and uniform services across the hotel. The role ensures that all linen and uniform items are stored, issued, and maintained according to Rotana’s standards, supporting seamless operations for food‑and‑beverage outlets and hotel staff.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort and arrange clean uniforms and linen from laundry on shelves and racks.
• Issue linen to Food & Beverage outlets and uniforms to employees based on requisitions.
• Maintain accurate uniform records and monitor inventory levels.
• Inspect uniforms for loose buttons or hems and coordinate repairs with the tailor.
• Keep the linen room clean, tidy and report any damaged items.
• Ensure proper storage, recording and disposal procedures for linen and uniforms.
• Notify superiors when uniforms need to be replenished or discarded.
• Prepare uniforms for special and seasonal events.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational training in hospitality.
• Previous minor supervisory experience within a hotel housekeeping department.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer literacy; familiarity with Opera is an advantage.
