Linux OS System Administrator (Remote, Saudi National Only)

About the role

This remote position provides 24/7/365 support for an enterprise Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environment. The administrator will install, configure, manage, and maintain RHEL servers and clusters, ensuring high availability for critical SAP workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Linux servers (RHEL 7, 8, 9) and applications.
• Maintain RHEL clusters using Pacemaker and Red Hat HA extensions.
• Monitor system performance, apply patches, and perform routine maintenance.
• Provide daily operational support, including OS installation, troubleshooting, virus protection, and resource management.
• Support SAP, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA environments on RHEL.
• Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
• Implement security best practices, firewalls, user permissions, and file integrity measures.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with ERP, application, database, and web hosting teams for support and maintenance.
• Handle monitoring agents (SCOM, AppDynamics) and server management tools (SCCM).
• Raise and manage Red Hat support tickets, collect logs, and follow up.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of enterprise Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with RHEL clustering (Pacemaker) and SAP workloads.
• Familiarity with Saudi cybersecurity regulations (NCA, NIC, SEC).
