Litigation Lawyer – Saudi Courts

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer to join JP Legal’s legal team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves representing clients before Saudi courts and judicial bodies, handling all phases of litigation, and providing strategic legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients before General Courts, Commercial Courts, Labor Courts, Administrative Committees and quasi‑judicial bodies.
• Draft, review and submit pleadings, statements of claim, defenses, appeals and legal memoranda.
• Attend hearings, court sessions and meetings with judges, notaries and government authorities.
• Manage litigation files from initiation through resolution, including enforcement proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and provide opinions in line with Saudi laws, regulations and judicial precedents.
• Advise clients on litigation strategies, risk assessment and dispute‑resolution options.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); Master’s degree is a plus.
• Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia (Saudi Bar Association license preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of litigation experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi civil, commercial, labor and enforcement laws, and Sharia principles as applied by Saudi courts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using Najiz and other Saudi judicial electronic systems.
• Excellent legal drafting and advocacy skills in Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
