Logistics Manager – Nursery Supply Chain

About the role

The Nursery Logistics Manager will act as the central hub of Botanica’s plant supply chain, ensuring that millions of plants are imported, quarantined, stored, and dispatched safely, compliantly, and on schedule. This full‑time position supports one of the world’s most ambitious sustainable landscape projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate importation of plants and trees from local and international suppliers, managing containerised and loose shipments.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and internal clearance teams to execute EXW, CIF, and DDP shipments.
• Secure all import permits, phytosanitary certificates, SABER registrations, and customs documentation before arrival.
• Supervise unloading, verify quantities and plant health, and manage quarantine and acclimatisation processes.
• Handle corrective actions for rejected, damaged, or non‑compliant material.
• Support sourcing activities with procurement and production teams, liaising with approved nurseries on availability and specifications.
• Plan and execute daily plant dispatches to Red Sea Global projects, Amaala, and external clients, ensuring proper packaging and transport.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation throughout the supply chain.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain management, preferably in horticulture or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of international import regulations, phytosanitary requirements, and customs procedures.
• Ability to manage complex, high‑volume shipments while mitigating delays and compliance risks.
