Logistics Professional – Dammam Factory

About the role

As a Logistics Professional in Siemens Energy’s newly established factory in Dammam, you will shape the logistics and customs framework that underpins operational success. The role is ideal for experienced logistics specialists who thrive on independent problem‑solving and want to directly support production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all inbound and outbound shipment processes, coordinating with freight forwarders and transport providers.
• Oversee inventory control for materials and finished goods using SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Implement and optimise logistics workflows for material movement, storage, and distribution within the factory.
• Analyse logistics performance data to identify process‑improvement and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Prepare and manage shipping and logistics documentation, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Arabian customs regulations.
• Act as the primary contact for customs brokers and authorities, resolving documentation discrepancies and clearance delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of logistics operations experience, with a focus on customs documentation and compliance.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial factory environment is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex logistics and customs challenges.
• Advanced knowledge of Saudi Arabian customs procedures and proficiency in SAP applications.
