Machine Operator

About the role

The Machine Operator is responsible for running production equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring that each shift starts with all required documentation and that output meets quality standards. This position works closely with quality inspectors, maintenance teams, and helpers to maintain continuous production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Validate availability of required documents (JFT, IFM, bag tags) before each job start‑up.
• Operate machinery according to work instructions and IFM guidelines.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and request maintenance support when needed.
• Collaborate with QC inspectors to verify that finished goods meet specifications.
• Perform self‑inspection using the OCL sheet and report any defects.
• Assign tasks to helpers, maintain 5S standards, and ensure proper bag and pallet usage.
• Record daily production data in DPR and ERP systems and submit machine parameters for approval.
• Verify product and pallet labeling for accuracy.
