Maintenance Manager – Aluminum Recycling Plant

About the role

Maaden is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function of its new Aluminum Recycling Plant in Ras Al‑Khair, Saudi Arabia. The role will establish and run the maintenance organization, ensuring reliable operation of scrap processing, delacquering, melting, casting, homogenising, sawing and all utility systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for all maintenance activities across the recycling plant.
• Develop and implement the maintenance strategy, equipment criticality assessments, preventive maintenance plans and spare‑parts philosophy.
• Build and populate the CMMS and prepare the maintenance team for operational readiness before first hot metal.
• Maintain accurate asset records and deliver cost‑effective, reliability‑centered maintenance.
• Prepare annual maintenance plans, manage departmental budgets and monitor cost variances.
• Oversee service contracts and control warehouse inventories.
• Champion EHS, focusing on molten metal, combustion furnaces and delacquering hazards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in industrial maintenance management.
• Familiarity with EHS standards in high‑temperature metal processing environments.
• Ability to work in a 365‑day operational plant and coordinate closely with production teams.
