Manager - Operational Readiness

About the role

The Operational Readiness Manager is responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing the integrated readiness schedule that aligns all preparation activities with asset delivery, trial operations, and opening dates. This role serves as the single source of truth for programme scheduling and provides early risk visibility to ensure timely milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated OR master schedule in Primavera P6 covering workforce mobilisation, training, systems readiness, SOPs, permits, FF&E/OS&E, trial operations, and handover.
• Align OR schedules with project delivery milestones, stage gates, and asset opening dates, coordinating with PMO and delivery partners.
• Develop countdown and T‑minus plans for asset openings, including trial and soft‑opening phases.
• Track progress against baselines, identify slippage, assess critical‑path impacts, and escalate risks with recovery options.
• Produce scheduling reports, dashboards, and look‑ahead views using Power BI and Excel for leadership and governance forums.
• Coordinate schedule inputs from functional leads, consolidate updates on a regular cadence, and manage change control and baseline documentation.
• Support workforce ramp‑up by aligning recruitment, onboarding, and training timelines with operational needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of scheduling or planning experience, preferably in operational readiness, large‑scale infrastructure, or entertainment/hospitality openings.
• Hands‑on expertise with Primavera P6, including baseline creation and change control on complex programmes.
• Experience supporting asset openings, trial operations, or commissioning‑to‑operations transitions.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PMI‑SP are a plus.
