Manager - Procurement Compliance Audit

About the role

The Manager – Procurement Compliance Audit leads the planning, execution, and reporting of procurement audits to ensure all sourcing activities align with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. This position works closely with procurement teams and senior leadership to mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct comprehensive procurement compliance audits across departments and projects.
• Identify compliance gaps, risks, and control weaknesses, and propose practical remediation.
• Collaborate with procurement and cross‑functional stakeholders to implement corrective actions promptly.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Monitor trends in procurement compliance and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Support the development and delivery of training programs on procurement compliance and audit awareness.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement compliance, audit, or related fields, preferably within large projects or organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CIA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s regulatory environment and procurement practices is preferred.
