Manager, Strategy & Business Development

About the role

The Manager – Strategic Corporate Business Development will lead the identification, development and execution of cross‑business growth opportunities that create new revenue streams and enhance synergies across alfanar’s business units. Reporting to senior leadership, the role focuses on corporate‑level strategic initiatives, new platforms, partnerships and investments that support long‑term diversification.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and launch new revenue platforms across multiple business units, translating strategic priorities into executable opportunities.
• Develop and manage cross‑business synergy projects, coordinating with unit leaders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead the creation of new business lines and corporate platforms, including market analysis, commercial modelling and early‑stage growth support.
• Structure and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures and alliances with global technology providers and investors.
• Identify acquisition and investment targets, prepare business cases, financial models and support due‑diligence activities.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in corporate business development, strategic planning or investment roles within infrastructure, energy, industrial or EPC sectors.
• Proven track record of launching new business lines, managing cross‑business initiatives and executing strategic partnerships or M&A.
• Bachelor’s degree; extensive experience (10–18 years) in relevant sectors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for analysis, reporting and presentations.
