Managing Consultant – Quantum

About the role

HKA is seeking a Managing Consultant – Quantum to lead and deliver high‑quality commissions in the areas of quantum, delay, engineering and commercial damages. The role involves technical leadership, client relationship management and contribution to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, clear technical outputs within your specialist area.
• Manage commissions in line with HKA standards, ensuring commercial performance and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients as a primary point of contact.
• Support business development activities, including bids, proposals and networking events.
• Identify and manage project risks, applying sound commercial judgement.
• Assist experts in formulating and testing opinions where applicable.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification (degree or equivalent); postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting, dispute resolution or related technical fields.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality technical work and manage client expectations.
• Proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
