Managing Director – Luxury Hotel Operations

About the role

The Managing Director will lead all aspects of Rosewood AMAALA, a flagship wellness destination in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to ownership and corporate teams, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving profitability, and embedding the brand’s purpose across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Define and champion the hotel’s vision, ensuring it is reflected in every guest interaction and associate experience.
• Build, mentor and retain a high‑performing, inclusive team across all departments.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting and capital improvement strategies to optimise profitability.
• Lead strategic marketing and revenue initiatives to maximise occupancy, revenue and brand visibility.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, brand and quality standards.
• Foster strong relationships with community partners, ownership and key stakeholders.
• Drive sustainability and impact initiatives aligned with Rosewood’s values.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience as a Managing Director or General Manager in luxury hospitality.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve financial targets and operational excellence.
• Strong track record of building inclusive, high‑performing teams.
• Experience working with ownership and corporate partners.
• Commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
