About the role

The Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights Section Manager will lead the development of alfanar's market intelligence capability, delivering forward‑looking insights on markets, competitors, technologies and emerging opportunities to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain market intelligence frameworks, knowledge repositories and classification systems.
• Assess market size, growth, customer segments and emerging opportunities, validating data with reliable sources.
• Develop competitor and benchmarking frameworks, analyse positioning, value chains and ecosystem dynamics.
• Monitor economic, regulatory, technological and geopolitical trends, especially in energy, electricity and infrastructure sectors.
• Lead strategic studies on market entry, growth, diversification, partnerships and investment opportunities.
• Translate market, competitor and external intelligence into actionable strategic recommendations for executives.
• Define the Market Intelligence roadmap, methodologies, research agenda and enhance tools, data sources and analytics capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading market intelligence, competitive analysis or strategic insight functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations.
• Experience working in energy, electricity, infrastructure or related sectors is preferred.
