Marketing CM Director

About the role

The Marketing Category Management Director will lead the procurement function for the Marketing category at Saudi Telecom Company, ensuring cost‑effective service delivery aligned with corporate strategy and SLAs. Reporting to the General Manager – Commercial Procurement, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution across the full sourcing lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in strategy formulation and implement the sector’s procurement strategy for the Marketing category.
• Develop and maintain sourcing strategies, cost driver analyses, and business cases in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Lead lease analysis and anticipate market changes to adjust sourcing approaches.
• Drive discussions on purchasing requirements, project specifications and align them with sector strategy.
• Classify purchasing requests, manage SLAs for tendered and non‑tendered orders, and oversee payment request processes.
• Monitor market trends, supply‑base segmentation and provide price road‑maps to finance for budgeting.
• Scout the supply market, identify key actors and track competitive pressures to keep the department aligned with best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement or category management functions, preferably within a large telecom or marketing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop sourcing strategies and business cases.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of market dynamics, cost drivers and supplier relationship management.
