Material Planner – Manufacturing & Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Riyadh. The role is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating material requirements to keep production running smoothly while optimizing inventory and supporting on‑time deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements using the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and MRP systems.
• Determine quantities, reorder points and generate purchase requisitions to meet production demand.
• Monitor material shortages, resolve supply issues and coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely availability.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, track fast‑moving items and support cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Warehouse and Logistics to ensure seamless material flow.
• Analyze demand forecasts, prepare material planning, inventory and shortage reports.
• Monitor KPIs related to inventory, material availability and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in material or production planning, procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems in industrial or heavy‑industry settings.
