Mechanical Design Engineer – Transmission & Distribution

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to create high‑quality designs for Transmission & Distribution, building and energy projects. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative, efficient mechanical solutions that meet project specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems across all project phases, from concept to IFC.
• Perform detailed design analysis, calculations and feasibility assessments in line with project specifications.
• Follow established design guidelines, QMS standards and industry best practices.
• Utilise advanced software tools to produce efficient and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure design integrity and project success.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical design and analysis for T&D, power plants, buildings or industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards such as ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA, AIA, HTM, IBC and Saudi standards.

Required skills

• HVAC, plumbing and firefighting system design.
• Proficiency with HAP and Elite software for heat‑load calculations.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with 3D drafting tools and document management systems.
