Medical Director

About the role

Provide clinical leadership for the Integrated Care Center (ICC), ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient‑centered care. The Medical Director is accountable for clinical governance, physician performance, regulatory compliance, and alignment of clinical services with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall clinical services and medical operations for the ICC.
• Enforce clinical policies, protocols, and standards of care, and chair governance meetings.
• Oversee credentialing, privileging, and compliance with MOH KSA regulations and CBAHI accreditation standards.
• Drive quality improvement, monitor KPIs, lead root‑cause analyses, and champion patient safety culture.
• Manage physician recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Supervise day‑to‑day clinic operations to optimize patient flow and adherence to care pathways.
• Contribute to strategic planning, represent the ICC in senior leadership discussions, and build relationships with MOH and external entities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (Medicine and Surgery) with board‑eligible or board‑certified status.
• Extensive experience managing multi‑specialty ambulatory care settings.
• Proven track record in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety programs.
• Experience leading accreditation processes (CBAHI, JCI, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Saudi MOH regulatory frameworks, licensing requirements, and strong communication skills.
