MH-60R Avionics Technician (AT) - Jubail, Saudi Arabia

About the role

Amentum is hiring an MH-60/H-60 Avionics Technician in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role covers planned maintenance interval inspections (PMI) and organizational, intermediate and depot-level maintenance on H-60 helicopters, including troubleshooting, testing, inspection and repair of aircraft radios, radar, navigation equipment and other rapid communication devices. Extensive knowledge of wire and connector repair is required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair major assemblies, subassemblies and wire and connector replacements on the MH-60R and related systems
• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, fault detection and isolation on electrical and utility systems, and take corrective action
• Operate and maintain ground support equipment and use common, special and precision tools for power plant maintenance
• Complete all maintenance documentation, forms, records and reports, including the NAMP
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and other personnel and keep training records

Required profile

• 8 years of current or previous experience performing complex helicopter electrical work, including installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, alignment, modification and final test calibration
• Experience with navigation, radar, electronic countermeasure, GPS and armament systems, and the ability to solve problems pilots face in flight
• Thorough understanding of flight characteristics and their effect on electronic systems
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics and technical directives; knowledge of digital/analog computers, algebra and trigonometry
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship required); must pass a background check and drug test
• Physical demands: walking and standing, climbing stairs, ramps, ladders and work stands, lifting 50 pounds, colour discrimination and depth perception
