Mid/Senior Data Scientist – AI Team

About the role

Yassir is looking for a motivated Data Scientist to join its AI team and work on high‑impact projects such as dynamic pricing and trip dispatching. You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, build and improve machine‑learning models that power core business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimisation of pricing algorithms, including dynamic, surge and personalised pricing.
• Improve dispatching models to enhance driver‑to‑rider matching efficiency.
• Detect and prevent fraud and revenue leakage through ML‑based monitoring.
• Design recommendation and personalisation systems for user experience.
• Identify new machine‑learning opportunities and define project requirements.
• Work closely with cross‑functional engineering and product teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Ensure high data quality as a foundation for all analytics and ML pipelines.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering for model development.

Required profile

• Strong background in data science, predictive modelling and software development.
• Demonstrated curiosity and passion for AI and data‑driven problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and as a thought leader within a fast‑growing tech environment.
