Mine Manager – Riyadh

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery (SGR) is seeking an experienced Mine Manager to lead upstream exploration and extraction activities in Riyadh. The role ensures a reliable supply of gold‑bearing ore to the refinery while maintaining strict compliance with Saudi mining regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual mine plans to meet grade and tonnage targets for the refinery.
• Maintain all mining licences and environmental permits, submitting accurate reports to the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
• Enforce health and safety protocols, including permit‑to‑work systems, aiming for zero lost‑time injuries.
• Manage third‑party drilling and earth‑moving contractors, ensuring equipment availability and SLA compliance.
• Oversee geological data collection and resource modeling to keep reserve estimates up to date.
• Drive operational excellence in drilling, blasting, and hauling operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in mine management or similar senior mining roles.
• Proven ability to work within Saudi regulatory frameworks and environmental standards.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
