MSOC Cybersecurity Defense Analyst – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Managed Security Operations Center (MSOC) is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Defense Analyst to strengthen our security monitoring, detection, investigation, threat hunting, and incident response capabilities in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced cybersecurity monitoring and detection across the organization.
• Investigate security incidents and conduct thorough root‑cause analysis.
• Perform proactive threat hunting to uncover hidden adversaries.
• Lead incident response activities in line with National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) guidelines.
• Collaborate with the MSOC team to continuously improve security processes and tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC/MSOC) or related cybersecurity defense role.
• Saudi national.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Familiarity with NCA cybersecurity regulations and the Saudi Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (SCyWF) is highly desirable.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms.
• Proficiency in EDR/XDR solutions.
• Knowledge of Network Detection and Response (NDR) tools.
• Experience with IDS/IPS and firewall technologies.
• Ability to work with threat intelligence feeds and other monitoring technologies.
